Super Bowl Sunday

Just a bit different this year. Of course....the obvious!! No huge Super Bowl parties....I wonder if there will still be as many calling in sick on Monday, with the "Super Bowl Fever."

As I sit here watching the half time show, I can't help but feel a little dissatisfied with show, commercials, etc. I am not trying to be Debbie Downer or Polly Pitty Pants, but when Budweiser, Coke, Pepsi and Hyundai, all skip out on commercials, it is, well....kind of sad. No Clydesdales, no Coca Cola Bears, no Pepsi.....and did you know that Hyundai rhymes with Sunday.....?

Any way, Brady got Gronk to come out of retirement and capture another Super Bowl win. It isn't over yet, but excuse me for foreshadowing a bit....looks as though the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take the title.

All this aside, it would be amiss to not appreciate the honorary captains for this game, and for the incredible recognition given to them penned by Amanda Gorman. If you missed it, check it out below.

In addition, if you were tuning in late, or not tuning in at all, the Eric Church and Jazmine Sullivan rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, featured the first collaborative effort in 15 years showcased at an NFL Championship Game. It brought chills it was so beautiful. You can watch it here:
